In the Beginning....
26 February 2005
Kevin witnesses the desperate plight of AIDS orphans in South Africa on TV and quite literally goes 'bananas'. Six days later he is standing in Zululand, desperately searching for the children he has seen on TV.

Kevin visits local schools and finds many thousands of
malnourished children who have not been fed that day, many were AIDS orphans who would have to beg for food to survive - or worst still do "child labour work" - another term for prostitution. Yet incredibly, it would only cost a few pence to feed each of them.

Later, Kevin finds Sne, the young Zulu boy who's plight had broken his heart, and it was an amazing experience for him to be able to help Sne and his sister Mbali.
All too soon Kevin's journey came to an end, but he vows he will do all he can to help these forgotten children on his return home, with the knowledge that thousands of children were left orphaned, hungry, frightened and alone.
Twelve weeks later and Kevin is standing back in Zululand and since this time he has helped fed over a million school meals of fresh fruit to hungry children and encouraged local government and large charities to follow his simply blueprint of feeding children at school.
